20th International Drina- Sava Kayak-Canoe memorial “Vitomir Dizdarevic – Admiral Kuk”
20th International Drina- Sava Kayak-Canoe memorial “Vitomir Dizdarevic – Admiral Kuk” Regatta will be organized by Kayak Club “Srpski veslaci” in the period from 27 April till 4 May in Visegrad (B&H), Bajina Basta, Ljubovija, Mali Zvornik, Loznica, Bogatic and Sremska Mitrovica (SER).
The aim of this event is promotion of natural, cultural and historical potentials of the Drina-Sava and Drina-Tara regions. Regatta binds local communities and creates joint touristic offer strengthening the partnerships among the municipalities located along the Drina river and Sava river, especially in the tourism sector.
This year, 360 km long regatta will bring together over 100 participants from: Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Switzerland, England with kayakers from the Republic of Srpska and Serbia.
This Event will contribute to improving of partnerships and cooperation with participants local or international, as well as establishing connections between local municipalities, self-managed institutions and individuals, with main idea to promote cultural, historical and natural heritage and stimulate local touristic potential.
